Ciarán Hourican is a professional Workplace Coach and Mentor with a passionate interest in developing others and a track record for realising excellence. He has worked extensively across both the private and public sectors and more recently in the area of tech.
With a background in politics and leadership psychology Ciarán brings a very dynamic energy to leadership and coaching.
By facilitating engagement through his ongoing fascination with political, business and social icons, Ciaran’s development approach is client focused and he is an advocate for people while also facilitating them to accept more responsibility for the challenges they face.
In his capacity as Managing Partner of H-Training Ciarán has assumed strategic responsibility for growing and developing the business. He is currently studying Software Development as part of H-Training's strategic shift towards online delivery and content development.
Ciaran holds a BA in English and Politics and a Masters in Political Leadership from University College Cork he was awarded Best Dissertation and Politics MA Student of the Year. He is also a qualified Coach and Mentor from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Helen Hourican founded H-TRAINING in 1989. Since then, she has developed the organisation to provide a range of targeted HRM and Learning & Development solutions to private and public sector organisations on a local and national basis.
Helen has worked at Strategic Level with Leaders in Multinational Food Groups, International Manufacturing and Distribution Businesses, Government Bodies and Public Sector Organisations along with a range of SME’s.
Her involvement ranges from Organisation Alignment, to Leadership Development as well as Coaching and Mentoring initiatives through full cycle HRM to source and develop and support talented leaders to deliver business objectives.
Helen has significant involvement in the architecture of change with the objective of defining an integrated change journey. This is then supported by an organisational design that determines effective outcomes for the business.
Helen has a Masters in HRM & Executive Coaching and completed a diploma in Employment Law with TU/IBEC
Margaret Collins is a Human Resources Professional and Leadership facilitator with over twenty years’ experience. She is a registered Emotional Intelligence Coach and is passionate about helping others unlock their leadership potential. She has managed diverse teams and developed people to excel in their work roles.
Having achieved a first-class Masters in HRM in 2018, Margaret is now leveraging her extensive background in HR Strategy and Business Development, consulting in the design and, implementation, of HR and Talent Management initiatives.
These involve recruitment, retention, employee engagement projects. She has devised management systems that are cost effective and efficient, tailored to the needs of the organisation.
Margaret has a Diploma in Employment Law and has mentored at all levels of management providing support and consultation on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance and harassment.
She strongly believes in continued professional development and is an active member of CIPD
