Management Coaching is a collaborative endeavour, where the client is invited to reflect on their challenges and explore strategies to navigate them better to have more impact. Our objectives are two-fold, making the individual more effective and fulfilled and by extension their organisation more successful. The coaching engagement is driven by participants and they are empowered throughout, rather than directed.
Our work with each client will remain strictly confidential to allow people to explore their challenges, honestly and openly. While we are deeply passionate about ambition and big goals we place a strong focus on well-being and empowering our clients to remember that it is their responsibility. It is important that every ambitious individual understands and develops the why behind their vision and houses these ambitions within a larger purpose and context. We find that defining this really enhances motivation and builds confidence.
1.Vision Mapping
Our approach is uniquely tailored to address the specific needs of each client, ensuring a targeted and high-impact coaching experience. We work with clients for six-eight sessions and begin by identifying desired and measurable outcomes and expectations for the engagement. We begin by asking: “what will success look like for you?” What have been the obstacles and accomplishments to date? Most importantly we situate this process within a larger question of purpose. What matters to you most and how will your goals facilitate these in abundance. We call this ‘Vision Mapping’
2. Implementation
Once a pathway is identified we work with the client to target obstacles to progress, generate resolution strategies and support an empowered approach to development. We re-iterate what you have done well. We challenge you to own it. This process often works to enhance personal efficacy and confidence. Coaching will bolster progress and continually challenge you to move forward. The objective is to realise the desired outcome by supportively holding you to account for both what you do well and where you can improve. It is important to acknowledge that your coaches job is not always to agree with you, but to at times push you to challenge you thinking and any assumptions you have. The core value of coaching is its potential to challenge your status quo. By tweaking some small habits and patterns in your thinking Together we nurture your vision, and realise your potential.
3. Review
The final sessions will seek to review progress made. Outcomes and expectations are scored and tweaked where necessary and ongoing strategies for sustaining the positive impacts are discussed with a plan for future and ongoing development outlined along with suggested next actions, reflections on the engagement and any need for further support.
